Describing it
In one line
Days on Purpose is a family of small, calm apps for using your phone with more intention: choose what matters, keep the scrolling apps in check, and, if you like, train or learn Greek.
In one paragraph
Days on Purpose is a small family of apps, made in New York by Xallindrome LLC, for people who want more of their days back from their phones. The Days on Purpose web app holds the one or two goals that matter right now and shows your week at a glance. Scroll on Purpose gives the apps that swallow your evenings a daily limit; when the time is used up, you earn more by doing something you chose, like a short walk, a set of reps or a few lines of writing. Train on Purpose is a workout log built for the middle of a session, and it works offline. Doorway teaches Modern Greek by letting you speak your way through short illustrated scenes from the Odyssey and Aesop’s fables. Each app works on its own and connects to the others only if you ask it to. There are no ads, and an orange fox called Hup waves you back if you drift. The apps are in a private preview and are free during it.
The story
Most days just happen. The phone fills the gaps, then the evenings, and the things you meant to do — the run, the chapter, the language, calling someone back — wait for a day that doesn’t come.
Days on Purpose is an attempt to make that a little easier to change without turning life into a productivity project. You pick one thing that matters. The phone gets a little quieter around it. Afterwards, you can see that it happened. Scroll on Purpose doesn’t just block apps; it asks you to do something you chose before it gives time back, so the limit points somewhere. Training and Greek are there because they’re the kind of thing people keep meaning to make room for. Nobody needs all four apps, and stopping is never a failure.

The apps
-
Days on Purpose — the goal app, on the web
Choose one or two goals, from a starting point or in your own words. Log small actions and see your week, not a leaderboard. The other apps can count toward a goal if you connect them.
-
Scroll on Purpose — intentional screen time, Android
Daily limits on the apps you pick. When a limit is reached, a pause screen covers the app, and you earn time back by doing something you chose: a walk, reps counted by motion or out loud, a few lines of writing, or a task of your own. A Vow keeps only one task open until it’s done, for two hours at most. Calls, alarms and emergency are never blocked, and you can make it lighter, pause it or uninstall it normally.
-
Train on Purpose — a workout log, Android
Built for one hand between sets. Log a set in a couple of taps, run a rest timer, follow a routine or a plan, and see your history, records and charts. It works without an account or a connection.
-
Doorway — Modern Greek through stories, Android
Play a character in short illustrated scenes from the Odyssey, Aesop’s fables and the tale of Theseus and Ariadne. Say your line in Greek, or type it; English help is always there. Doorway is in early testing, and some of its Greek hasn’t yet been checked by a native speaker.
Hup is the orange fox who appears across the apps. If you drift away from what you set out to do, Hup waves you back, at 3, 7 and 14 days, and never shames you.

What we can and can’t say yet
- The apps are being tried by a handful of people in a private preview. There are no public user numbers, ratings or results yet, and we won’t quote any until they’re real.
- Scroll on Purpose helps people set limits they chose. It isn’t a treatment for anything, and we don’t claim it cures burnout or phone addiction.
- Doorway lets you pick a level from A1 to C2 as a preference. It isn’t a test and doesn’t award certificates.
- Train on Purpose logs what you do and suggests the next step. It isn’t medical or coaching advice.
